§ Mrs. CurrieOn 30 October 1987 my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food announced that officials had been asked to review the proposals contained in the joint consultation document on food legislation, which was issued in December 1984, in the light of comments received from interested organisations. One of these proposals is that local authorities should be empowered to provide food hygiene training for food handlers.
