Mr. Michael Morris

To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how the annual cost of the cereals regime, as shown in the annual review, breaks down into the costs of(a) intervention purchases, (b) transport, (c) storage, (d) subsidy on disposal, (e) administration and (f) other costs for each of the years from 1984–85 to 1987–88.

A breakdown of expenditure by the Intervention Board for Agricultural Produce on the cereals regime is set out in the table. Administration costs are not included in these figures and are not separately available.
