To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many trainees are participating in the pilot YTS scheme in his Department; and how many are from ethnic minorities.

Mr. Cope

There are presently 84 trainees participating in the Department of Employment group YTS scheme, of whom 17 are from ethnic minorities.
