§ Mr. Norman LamontThe additional income brought into charge as a result of the controlled foreign companies legislation introduced in the Finance Act 1984 is as follows:
increase in tobacco tax in the 1988 Budget, in the light of continuing evidence by bodies including the Royal College of Physicians of the dangers to health posed by smoking.
