To ask the Secretary of State for Energy when he next expects to meet representatives of the United Kingdom offshore oil industries to discuss the health of the offshore fabrication industry.

Mr. Peter Morrison

As chairman of the Offshore Industry Liaison Committee (OILCO) which represents the United Kingdom offshore supplies industry, I expect to meet committee members this summer to discuss the health of the offshore fabrication industry. Apart from that meeting, I see representatives of all sides of the offshore industries regularly.
