HC Deb 15 February 1988 vol 127 cc492-3W
Mrs. Maureen Hicks

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services whether invalid care allowance paid to a mother looking after hanidicapped dependants and therefore unable to work continues after the said mother reaches pensionable age of 60 years.

Mr. Scott

If the qualifying conditions are satisfied, entitlement to an invalid care allowance continues after pension age, but the amount payable may be reduced or extinguished on account of the payment of a retirement pension or other social security benefits.
