asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether in the last year any British personnel have attended the US Training Base at Fort Chaffe in Arkansas and if not whether it is intended that any should do so in 1988 or 1990.

One officer is currently at Fort Chaffe as a liaison officer between the British and United States Army training organisations. There are no plans at present to send any other personnel.
