§ Mr. ButcherThe Director General of Telecommunications has a duty under section 49 of the Telecommunications Act 1984 to consider any matter which relates to telecommunication services or apparatus which is the subject of a representation by or on behalf of a person who has an interest in that matter. The director general will consider the hon. Member's question and write to him.
