What is the present membership of the Foreign Secretary's Advisory Panel on Disarmament, what are its terms of reference, and when did it last meet.
§ The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Lord Glenarthur)The Advisory Panel on Disarmament has not had a fixed membership since 1982. It was established in 1964 to enable Ministers to discuss arms control issues with politicians, academics and non-governmental organisations. In recent years this dialogue has been maintained and expanded through a number of increasingly specialised groupings. The panel itself last met in April 1987.
