HC Deb 11 February 1988 vol 127 c291W
Ms. Richardson

To ask the Attorney-General whether he will issue instructions for the removal of all offensive pin-ups in all departmental premises of his office and the Lord Chancellor's Office.

The Attorney-General

There is no need for the Lord Chancellor to issue such an instruction as there is no evidence that this is a problem in his Department. The Department's equal opportunity policy statement makes it clear that displays of pin-ups causing offence may amount to sexual harassment which will not be tolerated and may be the subject of disciplinary proceedings.

There is no offensive pin-up in my own Department.
