Article 15 of the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1977 lists the bodies which authorities are statutorily required to consult before granting planning permission for any particular development. There are no specific consultation requirements for applications for new fur farms. Apart from the statutory requirements, generally it is for local authorities to decide the extent of consultation in particular cases.
