Mr. Meacher

To ask the Secretary of Slate for Employment what has been the level of average earnings of(a) male manual workers, (b) male non-manual workers and (c) managers, senior managers, directors, and professionals, in whatever categories the information is available, for each year since 1979, both current and constant (1987–88) prices; and what has been the percentage increase each year in the earnings of each group in both money and real terms since 1979.
