HC Deb 10 February 1988 vol 127 cc285-6W
Mr. Morgan

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received about his most recent planning guidance in respect of the use of green belt land.

Mr. Waldegrave

To date I have received no representations about planning policy guidance note 2, on green belts, the publication of which I announced on 20 January in reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Christchurch (Mr. Adley), at columns 745–46. The new guidance note contains no departure from established green belt policy.

Mr. Hume

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what figures are available to indicate the allocation of general practitioner trainees to each training practice in each of the past five years.

Mr. Needham

It is not possible to provide this information in the form requested. However, over the past five years the average number of trainees per training practice in each health and social services board area was as follows:

Number
Eastern Board 4.5
Northern Board 3.1
Southern Board 3.7
Western Board 3.3
