To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he has had discussions with British Telecom regarding the proposed sale of magnetic tapes containing telephone directory and other information to third parties.

No. This is a matter for British Telecom. It would be for the Director General of Telecommunications to consider any representations about such a proposed sale.
