treatment of Mrs. Alice Fuller of 39 New Place square, Bermondsey, London SE 16, pursuant to the letter to the hon. Member for Southwark and Bermondsey from his Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State dated 30 November 1987 and in the absence of any response from the chairman of the Disablement Services Authority.

Mr. Scott

I understand that since the hon. Member wrote to my hon. Friend, his constituent has made two visits to the Roehampton disablement services centre, on 10 December 1987 and 19 January 1988, and a further appointment has been made for 16 February 1988. I also understand that both the hon. Member's letters about his constituent have been acknowledged by officials of the Disablement Services Authority, and that the chairman of the authority will write to him shortly.
