Lord Harris of Greenwich

asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many administrative assistants, administrative officers, typists and executive officers working in Greater London resigned from the Department of Health and Social services, the Home Office and the Department of the Environment during the last year for which statistics are available; and what proportion of each grade this represented.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Health and Social Security (Lord Skelmersdale)

Staff in post figures for the Department of Health and Social Security and Home Office are for 31st December 1987; for Department of the Environment, for 31st January 1988; figures for the Department of the Environment include those for the Property Services Agency.
