To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many places on YTS he plans for the Peterlee and Seaham areas of his Department in the year 1988–89.

For 1988–89, a total of 1,105 YTS places are provisionally planned in the local authority district of Easington, which includes Easington, Peterlee and Seaham.
