To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list those applications made by agencies in the United Kingdom for funding under the European Commission ACE fund to protect the environment; and if he will give the outcome of those applications.

In the information in the table, successful applications for funding udner the European Community ACE—Action by the Community on the Environment—regulations are marked with an asterisk. Decisions on some projects have had to be deferred pending clarifications of technical points or through lack of funds at the time of consideration.
