734WThe Farm Land and Rural Development Bill, which has been considered in another place and received its Second Reading in this House on 1 February, will provide the enabling powers. Subordinate legislation will be introduced following the passage of the Bill and we hope that the scheme will come into operation this autumn, in time for the main tree planting season.
