§ Mr. Darling
To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what is the cost to his Department of becoming a full member of the Charter Group initiative; and if he will list the other members of the initiative.

§ Mr. Butcher
It is not possible to give the cost of the DTI becoming a full member of the Charter Group initiative since the terms for participation have not yet been agreed. More than 150 organisations have so far indicated their interest in, and intended support for, the initiative.
