HC Deb 03 February 1988 vol 126 c673W
Mr. William Ross

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland when he expects further applications for extradition to be made in respect of persons believed living in the Irish Republic where the persons sought are wanted in respect of(a) terrorist offences and (b) other offences.

Mr. Stanley

The Royal Ulster Constabulary continues to give consideration to possible extradition cases involving both terrorist and non-terrorist offences. As I said in my reply to the hon. Gentleman on 10 November, at column 166, it is not the practice to give details of possible individual extradition cases.

Mr. William Ross

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many of the applications for extradition from the Irish Republic made between 1 December 1987 and 14 December 1987 were for terrorist offences.

Mr. Stanley

All three.
