Mr. Rowlands

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what his estimate is of the number of outstanding applications for(a) general and repair grants, (b) standard grants and (c) improvement grants for each district authority; and how many of these grants in each category and district have been outstanding for (i) four years, (ii) three years, (iii) two years, (iv) one year and (v) under one year.

The numbers of renovation grant applications outstanding at September 1987 and the estimated numbers outstanding since April 1986 or earlier are shown in the following tables. Information is not collected regularly on the period for which grants have been outstanding.
