§ Mr. William RossTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) if he will publish a table in theOfficial Report to show what sums have been paid to date in respect of loss and expense claims by contractors made in respect of Housing Executive contracts let in the financial years 1978–79 to 1987–88, relating to (a) legal costs, (b) professional advisers costs, (c) Housing Executive staff time costs, (d) interest charges and (e) capital sums; and if he will show under each heading what sums relate to measurable and evaluated items, and which sums arose under contractual claims;
(2) if he will publish a table in the Official Report to show the sums recovered from and the claims outstanding against contractors by the Housing Executive in respect of contracts having been let in the financial years from 1978–79 to 1987–88;
(3) if he will publish a table in the Official Report showing what sums have been paid to date for loss and expense by contractors and how many claims and for what sums are still not settled, in respect of Housing Executive contracts let in each financial year 1978–79 to 1987–88, for (a) new build, (b) rehabilitation work and (c) other capital expenditure.
§ Mr. NeedhamThese are matters for the chairman of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive who has informed me that the information requested is not readily available and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
