§ 85. Mr. ColvinTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when the United Kingdom-Spanish agreement on Gibraltar, dated 2 December 1987, will come into operation.
§ Mrs. ChalkerThe first step is for the Gibraltar House of Assembly to adopt the necessary amendments to current Gibraltar customs and immigration legislation. Once this has been done, the agreement will come into operation not later than one year after the United Kingdom notifies Spain of the House of Assembly's decision. During this period, the new Spanish terminal will be built.
