§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Lord Chancellor's Department has no information about the location of any document containing the text of the Zinoviev letter as it originally came into the possession of the British Government. A copy of the text is available for public inspection in the Public Record Office. I am not aware of any representations either to myself or to the Lord Chancellor about the absence of the original letter from the Public Record Office.
