§ Mr. DunnInformation on the total number of places available in nursery schools is not collected centrally. The number of pupils attending maintained nursery schools in Northumberland in January 1987 was 44 full-time and 90 part-time. In addition, 89 full-time and 1,593 part-time pupils attended nursery classes in primary schools in the authority.
