To ask the Secretary of State for Employment when he will next meet the chairman of the engineering industry training board to discuss skill shortages in the industry.

Ministers in the Department have regular meetings with all chairmen of industrial training boards to discuss various issues. I expect to meet the chairman of the engineering board in the spring.
