§ Mr. LeeGood progress is being made in this area through the auspices of the British Conference and Exhibition Centres Export Council, which is supported by the British tourist authority. Britain now has a 10 per cent. share of the market for international conferences and association meetings, and in 1986, conferences earned a record £109 million from overseas visitors.
