To ask the Secretary of State for Employment when he last met the chairman of the British Tourist Authority; and what was discussed.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State last met the chairman of the British tourist authority on 15 July. In my capacity as Minister of tourism I frequently meet the chairman of the British tourist authority to discuss the problems and opportunities facing the industry.
