Mr. Fry

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many(a) fatalities and (b) injuries have been caused by reversing heavy goods vehicles in each of the last five years for which figures are available.

Statistics on the causes of accidents are not collected. The number of casualties in road accidents where a heavy goods vehicle was reversing is shown in the table.
