§ Mr. WakehamThe building forms part of what is known as the Bridge street, phase II site. The Property Services Agency, with the agreement of the New Building Sub-Committee, has commissioned a detailed design study for the staged development of the whole site. I understand that the results will be made available shortly.
Meanwhile, when the police recreation area on the ground floor of No. 1 Bridge street is moved to No. 1 Cannon row in 1989, the Parliamentary Works Office will undertake some limited work to enable ITN staff, at present working in Portakabins in Black Rod's Garden, to move into the vacant accommodation.
