HC Deb 01 February 1988 vol 126 c473W
Mr. Livingstone

To ask the Secretary of State of Energy what is the cost per tonne of irradiated spent nuclear fuel to be reprocessed for the Central Electricity Generating Board and South of Scotland Electricity Board in the thermal oxide reprocessing plant at Sellafield; and how these costs compare with those agreed with foreign utilities for imported thermal oxide nuclear fuel.

Mr. Michael Spicer

The terms under which business is conducted between BNFL and its customers are a commercial matter between the parties involved. I understand that the terms agreed with the Central Electricity Generating Board and the South of Scotland Electricity Board are no less advantageous than those agreed with overseas customers.
