§ Mrs. RoeThe London borough of Greenwich has submitted nine bids for Estate Action resources in 1988–89:
Continuation schemes £ Barnfield estate 1,102,000 Hughesfield estate 130,000 Valley Grove estate 796,000 Bid for additional resources Schemes to start in 1988–89 Cardwell estate 655,000 Cherry Orchard/Mascalls 640,000 Connaught estate 738,000 Ferrier estate 1,100,000 Hughesfield phase II 551,000 Meridian house, Azof street 110,000 Local authorities have been requested to submit outline bids by the end of January and we will tell them as soon as possible which bids we should like them to work up more fully. Approvals and additional allocations will follow as soon as councils can give us firm information on costs, phasing and other elements of their schemes.
