§ The Attorney-GeneralSketches of court proceeding made with a view to publication are prohibited by section 41 of the Criminal Justice Act 1925 only if made in court. Where such an offence is alleged, the Crown Prosecution Service will prosecute if there is sufficient evidence and if it would be in the public interest to do so. The criteria it will apply are those made public by the Director of Public Prosecutions in his code for Crown prosecutors.
