To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many(a) heart, (b) cornea, (c) liver, (d) pancreas, (e) kidney and (f) lung transplants were carried out in each of the last 10 years.

Only a proportion of patients receiving corneal transplants are registered with United Kingdom transplant service, but it is estimated that about 1,500 are performed each year.
