HC Deb 21 December 1988 vol 144 c346W
68. Sir Hector Monro

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what recent discussions he has had with the chairman of the Scottish Development Agency about the level of employment in Scotland; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Lang

Among other subjects, we discussed ways in which the agency might help to improve employment levels in particular areas of Scotland.
