§ Mrs. RumboldThe independent GCSE examining groups, which are responsible for issuing results, are not aware that any results for summer 1988 GCSE examinations are still outstanding. As in previous years, some results remain to be confirmed because they are the subject of appeals. The groups have undertaken to deal with these appeals as quickly as possible.
