§ Sir Eldon GriffithsTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans he has to refurbish the canteen at the Property Services Agency offices at Brooklands avenue, Cambridge; how much this refurbishment is expected to cost; what are the implications of this refurbishment for staff currently at Newmarket; and for what purpose.
§ Mr. ChopePlans are being prepared to rationalise and refurbish the canteen serving the 1,100 staff of all Departments at Brooklands avenue. The estimated cost is £450,000. The space released will be converted to offices for the remaining PSA staff at Newmarket. This move will complete PSA eastern region's reorganisation proposals which my right hon. Friend approved in March 1987.
