Member for Rutland and Melton and Mr. Robert Angrave on 19 July; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Alan ClarkMy officials have raised the issue in the appropriate European Community fora and it has also been raised with the Indonesian authorities by the Commission. The Community has notified the ban to the GATT Uruguay round surveillance body as a trade restriction and will request consultations with the Indonesian authorities under the GATT dispute settlement procedures at the first possible opportunity.
