§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyTable 5A is produced from detailed analysis of research programme expenditure and plans by the Department, the Countryside Commission, the Nature Conservancy Council and the Sports Council. This analysis is now taking place as part of the Cabinet Office review of research and development for 1989 and will not be complete for some time.
