To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what was the number of places in(a) private and (b) voluntary nursing homes in each district health authority in Wales in each year since 1979.

Comparable information is available only for the years 1982 to 1987. It is not possible to identify separately voluntary and private nursing homes.

and (viii) osteo-rheumatoid arthritis and (b) the number of people over 75 years of age who have been identified as needing or having the above.
