§ Mr. Michael SpicerThis is an operational matter for the relevant electricity boards. I have asked the chairman of the Central Electricity Generating Board to write to my hon. Friend in respect of fossil-fuel power stations in England and Wales. My right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland will ask the chairmen of the Scottish and Northern Ireland electricity boards to write in respect of their power stations.
