HC Deb 14 December 1988 vol 143 c607W
1991. Mr. Dobson

To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will estimate how many women are likely to be screened for breast cancer in(a) 1989, (b) 1990 and (c)

Mrs. Currie

I regret that we do not have this information available centrally. The breast cancer screening programme is being implemented over the three years to 1990. We shall collect statistics centrally on the number of women screened once the service has been fully implemented. We hope that by 1993 all women aged between 50 and 64 will have been invited for screening.
