§ Mr. TrippierThe statutory procedures leading to the issue of a direction require a notice of the proposed direction to be given. In many cases, the issue of the notice 405W is sufficient to get the land brought into use or sold. Over 200 notices were issued in the last three years, and in some cases, were followed up by directions, as shown in the table below.
