To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what percentage of his Department's staff are classed as disabled.

Excepting staff in prison officer grades (whose duties preclude the employment of disabled persons) the number of registered disabled represents 0.7 per cent. of the Department's staff. There is no record of the number of staff with disabilities who elect not to register.
