§ Mr. ScottAs part of the discussions to implement section 7 of the Act, officials met local authority representatives on 17 November 1988. The timetable for implementation will depend on the outcome of further discussions with local authority and health authority representatives. The first report required under section 11 is expected to be laid before the House before the end of 1989.
