To ask the Prime Minister what are the arrangements for briefing the Leader of the Opposition on security matters, including legislative proposals affecting security matters; and if she will make a statement.

As a matter of normal practice I do not propose to confirm or to deny whether briefings on security matters are envisaged or have taken place.
