§ Mr. Tony BanksTo ask the Prime Minister (1) pursuant to her reply of 1 December,Official Report, column 347, which of her visits abroad in the current year still have open accounts because payments are awaited from media organisations for the cost of their representatives travelling with her on official transport;
(2) pursuant to her reply of 1 December, Official Report, column 347, which of her visits abroad still await the closure of accounts.
§ The Prime MinisterFor practical reasons, accounts relating to my visits overseas remain open for a reasonable length of time. This is because delays in receiving bills or claims or minor queries about the details of transactions, make it impractical to close these accounts too soon.
