To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will be seeking Crown immunity from prosecution for the institutions which are the responsibility of his Department when the anticipated new controls on emissions come into operation.

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how he proposes to finance the additional funds required for those nurses who will be regraded after appeal.

Mr. Needham

The funds allocated to boards which include £32 million as the assessed cost of the clinical grading review, are intended to cover all pay costs arising in the current financial year, including any costs arising from successful appeals about pay or grading.
