§ Mr. LuceI have visited the Piers art centre in the Orkneys and the Brewery arts centre in Kendal and the Eden court theatre in Inverness this year; I have previously visited the Beaford centre in the hon. Member's constituency and also met its director in my office this year; all are good examples of arts centres which make a vital contribution to the life of rural communities. In March this year I visited the Newent library which doubles as an arts venue for small scale performances.
